Johnny Troxel

Johnny Troxel is a dedicated percussionist and educator based in Garden Grove, California. In the DCI activity, Johnny marched Vessel Drum and Bugle Corps in 2019-2020 and The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps 2022-2023. During the indoor season, Johnny marched Vessel Indoor Percussion in 2022 and POW Percussion in 2023-2024 where he aged out. Johnny currently works with Cypress High School as a battery instructor and has been working with them since 2023, getting them to finals in both SCSBOA and SCPA for the first time in the last 10 years.

Johnny is currently attending California State University, Long Beach and will graduate with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science in the spring.
